About

Situated a few miles west of Bratislava, Devin is one of the oldest castles in Slovakia, standing on the banks of the Danube. You can visit the ruins or take a walk along the river. It is easy to understand why Devin is one the most visited sites in Slovakia, the view is simply breath-taking, and you can even see as far as Vienna and the snowy tops of the Austrian Alps. The location is also well known for its redcurrant wine.
