About

An ideal base for exploring the dazzling Costa Smeralda, Arzachena boasts a charming historic centre with narrow streets, traditional buildings, and a pleasant, welcoming atmosphere for guests. There are shops, cafes, and restaurants allowing visitors to immerse themselves in the culture of this beautiful town. The town’s history however is really something that can enthrall tourists, even those just popping by. Arzachena is home to ancient archaeological sites such as the Nuraghe Albucciu, Nuraghe La Prisgiona, and the Tomba dei Giganti Coddu Vecchiu, which provide fascinating insights into the island’s varied past. Also, be sure to visit “The Stairs of Saint Lucia” – leading up to the historic Church of Saint Lucia, these brightly coloured stairs mark a dramatic departure from much of the architecture in the surrounding town and indeed the island as a whole. Even if not staying for very long, these stairs make for a brilliant picture opportunity not to be missed!
